Seventy calorie foods will be the basis for my near-fast menu. Seven servings of food from this list equals a day's calories. This isn't a starvation diet. This is a helluvalot of healthy food.
70 Calorie Foods
2 slices turkey bacon
one hard boiled egg (approx 77)
one small apple (approx 78)
1/2 a large banana (about 4 inch long serving, approx 65 cals)
20 pistachio kernels, unsalted
1 pitted medjool date
7 - 8 pecan halves
1 slice Ezekiel cinnamon raisin bread (80 calories)
1 3-inch diameter orange
1/2 pink grapefruit
1/2 cup canned pineapple in juice, not syrup
2.5 slices (150 g) fresh pineapple
1 cup of Spring Vegetable cup of soup + 2 saltines
1/4 cup Quaker Oats
1 1/2 cups strawberries
12 stalks of celery
2 medium size broiled tomatoes and 2 tbsp pecorino romano
2 cups brussels sprouts, steam or roast *yummy roasted
50 raisins
best for last:
1 whole 2.5 ounce packet of Chicken of the Sea Wild Caught Salmon - mix with mustard, balsamic vinegar, lime juice, salsa or some other low or no-calorie condiment and you've got a meal!
